Why cargos charges in volume weight? |
|
According to regulation of IATA: International express freight should be based on the bigger one between cargos gross weight and cargos volume weight. The volume weight calculate formula: length×width×height(cm)/6000. The final freight will be calculated by the minimum unit of 0.5kg, for example, an express send to Japan, the weight is 5.6 KG, volume weight is 10.7KG, weight unit is 0.5KG, so the settlement weight is 11KG

What kind of situation will the customs collect the custom tax? |
|
Export cargos normally do not charge custom tax，but import country customs will charge the custom tax from consignee according to the sorts of cargos, declare values and the cargos name. |

（一）The import/export cargos that China custom not allowed and restricted；
（二）The export cargos that destination countries restricted；
（三）The cargos can not be transport: valuable document, dangers goods, food, liquid, living items, medicament, cigarette… |

Is there any extra charge when the shipment is transported to foreign country ? |
|
Yes, it is possible, just like: custom tax & duty in destination country, storage charge，far off delivery fees, these charge should be paid by receiver, if receiver refuse to pay, these will charge from sender. |
